What We Offer in Our Cadet Program

Each year, Kane employs approximately 2 - 5 new cadets in NSW per year, integrating them into our dynamic team and preparing them for a successful career.

Program Highlights

Pre-Construction | Estimating

• Receive one-on-one training, education, and guidance from a Senior Estimator.
• Work closely with trades to identify relevant scope of works.
• Assist with tender submissions and the preparation of a Bill of Quantities (BOQ), measuring and rating.
• Engage in cost planning and value management to understand the financial aspects of construction.

Construction

• Gain direct mentorship from experienced Contract Managers on active projects.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to gain comprehensive site experience.
• Develop scope of works and engage in the procurement and letting of subcontracts.
